Wharf Rat Rally

The Wharf Rat Rally is Canada's largest motorcycle rally, now in its third decade and drawing more than 50,000 enthusiasts and 25,000-plus motorcycles to the town of Digby each Labour Day weekend. For four days the Digby waterfront roars to life as bikes line the harbour and a festival village takes over the downtown, all set against the spectacular tides of the Bay of Fundy.

The schedule is packed with live music, stunt shows, a vendor marketplace, poker runs, and parades, with plenty for riders and non-riding spectators alike. Digby's famous scallops and fresh seafood keep the crowds fed, and the rally's friendly, welcoming atmosphere has made it a must-ride destination for motorcycle clubs across Atlantic Canada and beyond.

Spectating is free, with some ticketed events and merchandise available. Accommodation in and around Digby sells out months in advance, so book early. The town is also a ferry gateway via Bay Ferries to Saint John, making it an easy add-on to a broader Maritimes road trip.
