About Carters Beach
Carters Beach is a stunning Caribbean-like beach near Port Mouton on the South Shore. With its incredibly white sand and turquoise waters, it's often called one of the most beautiful beaches in Nova Scotia. A 500-meter gravel path leads from the parking lot to the beach. Please stay off the protected dunes. Despite its beauty, it remains relatively uncrowded, making it a true hidden gem on the Lighthouse Route.
