Shelburne County Lobster Festival

The Shelburne County Lobster Festival was a mouth-watering celebration of Nova Scotia's most iconic seafood, held in the historic town of Shelburne on the province's beautiful South Shore. This community-driven festival honoured the region's deep-rooted fishing heritage with a weekend of fresh lobster feasts, cooking demonstrations, and waterfront family fun. The 2026 edition ran June 2–7.

The 2026 festival featured the legendary lobster supper where hundreds of guests dined on freshly caught local lobster, drawn butter, and all the trimmings. The festivities also included a lobster crate race, live entertainment, a street parade, craft vendors, and children's activities that filled the town's charming 18th-century streets.
