By the Ocean Art is an artist studio and shop on the Government Wharf boardwalk at Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage, next door to Kismet Gifts. The concept is exactly what the name says: one-of-a-kind pebble and seaglass art, made from stones and glass collected on Nova Scotia beaches and assembled into frames, scenes and keepsakes.
Watch It Being Made
The artist works live on site, so you can watch a piece come together, browse the finished collection, or commission something custom - a genuinely made-in-front-of-you souvenir of the kind most gift shops only claim.
