Fall Colours at Ski Wentworth

On select fall weekends — September 26–27, October 3–4, 10–12, and 17–18, 2026 — Ski Wentworth runs its Fall Colours chairlift from 10 am to 4 pm (weather permitting), carrying visitors up the hill for a spectacular view of the valley's hardwoods at peak colour. It's one of the most accessible leaf-peeping experiences in the province: no hiking required to get up, and a one-way ride leaves you free to walk the ski hill back down at your own pace.

Lift tickets are $25 plus tax per person, or $75 plus tax for a family of four, and can be pre-purchased at skiwentworth.ca. Wear solid footwear for the descent, dress for the weather, and budget time for the BBQ at The Nest up top and a cold drink on tap at The Barn after the hike down — there's a haystack playground to keep the kids busy while the grown-ups recover.
