About The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival
The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, North America's biggest outdoor comedy festival, returns to Halifax's Garrison Grounds from August 6 to 9, 2026. Over four days the historic hillside venue transforms into an open-air comedy club, pairing A-list stand-up with food trucks, drinks, and a high-energy festival atmosphere right on the edge of downtown.
The 2026 lineup brings some of the biggest names in comedy to Halifax, including Matt Rife (Aug 6–7), Andrew Schulz (Aug 8), and Nikki Glaser (Aug 9), with matinee sets from Trevor Wallace & Ryan Long and Adam Ray's Dr. Phil Live featuring Pauly Shore and Dusty Slay. Supporting acts include Fortune Feimster, Steph Tolev, Lucas Zelnick, Kam Patterson, and Mark Gagnon. Shows are spread across multiple nights and tiers, from general admission lawn seating to VIP packages with prime sightlines and upgrades.
