Grou Tyme Festival

The Grou Tyme Festival is an Acadian cultural festival in Halifax celebrating Acadian music, food, and heritage. The 2026 festival brought the vibrant spirit of Acadian culture to the provincial capital with live performances, traditional Acadian cuisine, and cultural activities that showcased the enduring French heritage at the heart of Nova Scotia's identity.

Festival programming featured Acadian and francophone musicians, traditional food such as rappie pie and fricot, kitchen parties, and family-friendly cultural activities. The 2026 celebration built toward National Acadian Day on August 15, joining communities across the province in marking the Tintamarre and the rich tapestry of Acadian life.
