SailGP is sailing's fastest league: national squads race identical 50-foot F50 foiling catamarans that fly above the waves at close to 100 km/h. The Canada Sail Grand Prix returns to the Halifax Waterfront May 15-16, 2027 — the international sail-racing series' only Canadian stop, with F50 catamarans racing against the downtown skyline and Tourism Nova Scotia calling it set to be one of the most anticipated events of 2027. The expanded Race Stadium spanning grandstands and Georges Island put more than 10,000 spectators in the middle of the action in 2026, and the 2027 edition brings the same waterfront SailGP village of live music, food vendors, and family activities.

The circuit is coming back: SailGP Halifax is officially confirmed for May 15–16, 2027, part of the Rolex SailGP Championship's most ambitious global season calendar yet.
