Activate Halifax brings the world's first active-gaming experience to Dartmouth: interactive game rooms where players jump, climb and dodge through lasers, glowing floors and hundreds of interactive levels, including the MegaGrid room and an interactive rock-climbing wall. Groups of 3 to 5 players move from room to room, and each game offers up to ten difficulty levels, so a session can be cooperative or competitive depending on the group.

Scores are tracked by an RFID wristband that syncs to a player profile, with leaderboards and a Tournament of Champions to climb, and there are no VR headsets anywhere in the facility.
