Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic Gift Shop

The Salt Store Gift Shop occupies the oldest building on the Fisheries Museum site at 68 Bluenose Drive, a salt storehouse that dates to 1899. The shop extends the museum visit with nautical books, model-boat kits, and locally made maritime keepsakes. This iconic red structure, originally built in 1899 as a salt storehouse, is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

For the 2026 season, the museum and its gift shop were open daily from 9:30 am to 5 pm, with the season extended through October 31 (daily 10 am to 4 pm, October 25–31). An off-site Boat Shop at 14 Burma Road is open Monday to Friday from 11 am to 4 pm.
